A film crew from National Geographic (including Jennifer Lopez as Terri Flores) sets off into the Amazon jungle to shoot a report on an unknown indigenous people. They soon make the acquaintance of the unscrupulous Paul Sarone (Jon Voight), who wants to show them the way. But Sarone has other plans: he wants to hunt the giant Anaconda constrictor.
