Police officer Asger has gotten into trouble at his job, which is why he has been transferred to the emergency call center. There he receives a call from a young woman named Iben, who tells him that she has been kidnapped. While Asger tries to find out by phone, using unconventional means, where the kidnapper is taking her, he also has to reassure Iben's young daughter, who is home alone.
