Help:CopyrightInfringement

What is copyright infringement?

First of all, copyright infringement is any breach of copyright. Copyright is the protection of a work for its author. Copyright protects intellectual or artistic achievements, such as paintings, texts, photographs, films, radio broadcasts or music and sound recordings.

The author of a work therefore has the right to exploit his work. This exploitation includes the reproduction, distribution, exhibition, public communication and adaptation of the work. This means that works whose author has not released their use into the public domain or through special licenses may under no circumstances be used without the author’s permission.

Note: omdb will immediately delete all texts, images and photos that do not provide precise information about their copyright.
