Donnie Darko is a film about a psychologically troubled boy from an seemingly normal upper-middle-class family in the 1980’s who believes he has only a month to live according to what a rabbit told him in his dream. With great music and a parallel universe the film grew to cult status shortly after it’s release in 2001.
